The textures will draw you in and the colors will delight your senses. I have used repurposed fabrics and created oxidized metal papers to incorporate into this little gem. I call these pieces Spacescapes because they are like their own planetary systems. I like being able to travel through space from the comfort of home. How about you?

This painting explores what the surface of Venus might look like if you wore roaming over the dunes. The paints have a quality known as interference and when you view the painting from different angles and under various lighting, you will see the colors shift in hue. FRESH OFF THE EASEL
1001 Dreams is what I call an abstract spacescape. I love astrophysics and after reading about Jupiter and its mysteries I found myself painting this piece. I began with a completely different idea, but the painting had its own message to convey and it led me to this beautiful dreamlike place. One person commented that it looks like where the water meets the desert, and another said it was like where heaven meets Earth. What do you see? The painting is made on an Ampersand archival panel. The imagery wraps around the sides, so it does not need to be framed and is ready to hang.
